To live up to Taichung's reputation as the City of Culture, Mayor Jason Hu is inviting many notable artists for a cultural festivity.The event is set for next year, in conjuction with the Republic of China's centennial celebration.

　　All the guests to the event are well know artists, Chinese calligraphers or authors from Taichung city and county as they all signed in with Chinese calligraphy brushes.They include former FengJia University President Liao Ying Ming, former TungHai University President Mei Keh Wang and oracle master Ahn Kuo Juing.he theme of the seminar is how to continue the cultural legend on.Six younger painters prevented flowers to the guests to represent passing on of the torch.

　　Taichung city mayor Jason Hu, a person who heavily promotes arts and cultures in Taichung, hopes to start with greater Taichung and cultivate more people in the art and cultural circles.The Ying Tsai foundation for culture and education was founded more than 10 years ago, which promoted more than 600 exhibitions; the foundations hopes more people can help with its effort to promote the great Taichung area and let it truly become the city of culture.
