But it's said the five-man task force in the Presidential Office wants the ECFA to be voted as a package.

Legislative speaker Wang Jin-pyng refused to confirm the news.

Wang says, although the ruling and the opposition failed to reach a common ground on how to review the ECFA and a conclusion for an extraordinary meeting is not confirmed.

The legislature has decided to convene a session to discuss the agenda of the provisional plenary session Thursday afternoon.

To support the legislative review on the ECFA, KMT legislators convene an ECFA forum for four days in a row, where industry leaders are invited to speak and voice for the trade pact.

Since the ruling and the opposition have varied attitudes, it takes time to see whether they can reach a consensus in reviewing the ECFA.
