President Ma Ying-jeou is noted for his willingness to seek advice from a variety of sources, which include teenagers and children. He met with two members of the Millennial Generation on Tuesday to hear their views on education.

Lin Yun, the Taipei First Girls' High School graduate, who has met President Ma more than once, seems pretty relaxed and natural.

Presidente Ma talked with the two students and listened to what they have to say.

Lin Yun hopes that there could be a database for major entrance exams, such as the basic academic comptency tests.

Although it was a casual talk, the Presidential Office took it seriously, inviting the vice secretary-general, spokesperson of the Presidential Office as well as Minister of Education Wu Ching-ji.

President Ma instructed the Ministry of Education to propose agenda for discussions in the National Education Conference in August while asking the Ministry to begin an internet channel with the programming suitable for children.
