And according to travel agencies, the revenues brought in by this new service have tripled in just one year's time.

For these tourists, the destination of their trip doesn't matter as much as whom they are sharing the trip with, because what they've signed up for is not any conventional group tour, but a new kind of romantic match-making tour. All of the participants are single people in search of a date, and they hope that through a series of interesting group games, they may meet Mr. or Mrs. Right in the process.

Most of the male members of this group are engineers from well-known IT manufacturers, while many of the ladies are nurses by profession. Its hard for them to meet single people of the opposite sex at work place, so tours like this seem especially appealing to them.

Travel agencies say the new breed of match-making tour has proved to be a success, generating revenues over five billion NT dollars in a year. Besides, it also gives them an extra sense of satisfaction knowing that someone may have found his or her partner in life because of their efforts.
