An abandoned school property in Pingshi of the Taipei County recently received a makeover, and was redesigned as an Ecology Education Hall, offering a chance for urban children to experience country life.

A group of children around 7 and 8 year-old are grinding with all their might just to make rice milk while having fun doing it too.

Girls can learn to cook rice inside bamboo at the school, which is not a culinary campus but an ecological education hall, a place where children can experience what it is like to live in the countryside.

The abandoned elementary school campus playground is filled with laughter of kids setting off sky lanterns after being deserted for five years.

In the classroo, children are learning how to make bamboo water gun with all their questions answered by the instructor before they started a water gun fight with the parents.

The summer vacation of those kids is filled with fun and education this summer as more parents can also consider bringing their children to PingShih township.
