As the latest addition to the Golden State Warriors team, Jeremy Lin, the first Taiwanese to be drafted by the NBA, has returned to Taiwan after being invited by the Chinese basketball player, Yao Ming to join a charity basketball event. It has been 10 years since Lin set his foot in Taiwan, and the professional star's agenda is already full. The first ever Taiwanese-American NBA star, Jeremy Lin has made his way back to Taiwan for a charity basketball event invited by another professional sports player, Yao Ming. Lin was born in the United States, but his family is from Taiwan. Although he's not fluent in Mandarin, he expresses his fondness for Taiwan's culture and its great food. The last time Lin traveled to Taiwan was 10 years ago, and this trip, he's looking forward to spending some quality time with his family members and his grandma who resides on the island. As a Harvard graduate, and now as the player for the NBA team Golden State Warriors, Lin is living his dreams. While it is not confirmed whether he will be representing Taiwan on Chinese Taipei team, we know for a fact, that within his two days in Taiwan, we will be seeing some great actions between him and Yao Ming on the charity event.
