An honorary ceremony has taken place in Taipei, paying deep respect to the parents that have contributed their lifetime taking care of their disabled children.

Let's meet these brave and inspiring individuals here on CTS.

16-year-old Yan Sheng is totally blind, but he is able to play beautiful music with his accordion. He has serious brain paralysis, but sill has a positive outlook on life. When he was three years old, his parents constantly let him learn music. Although he was keen on learning, there were many difficulties he had to overcome. To help fulfill Yan Sheng's dream, his parents finally found a music teacher and kept on encouraging him.

They were his biggest fans and this allowed him to fully develop his musical capabilities. Another great mother is glass bones patient Tsai Shuhui. Although her daughter has a bone disease and her husband had a stroke last year, which worsened the family's finances, Tsai is still upbeat about life. Tsai not only takes care of her family, she also volunteers to help society's weak. Her love is unselfish as she cares for people that need it.
