Three grade school students from Taipei distinguished themselves out of more than 2,000 competitors in an international martial arts contest in Hong Kong, winning a tally of 9 gold medals, and the youngest of them is only 8 years old. These three young wushu athletes are practicing vigorously on their routines using knife, stick, and spear. Every movement and training is taken seriously; as a result, these three students are the gold medalists at the 2010 Wushu Competition in Hong Kong. Tsai Wen-ye, 10 years old, has been learning wushu for the past 5 years and specializes in knife and has won in sticks, knife, and traditional wushu categories. Lu Yu-jun is the youngest of them all, who is only 8 and 120cm. Despite his height, he has won in two Chinese boxing and one stick category. Last is the only girl on the team, Liang Chen-xuan, who specializes in spears.
