A fifth grader from a poor family in Taichung County recently found 50,000NT$ on his way home. Despite the urgent financial needs of his parents, the boy delivered the money directly to the police and requested nothing in return.

All of the students clap for Ou, a fifth grader from disadvantaged family, who didnt think twice about keep the bag of NT$50,000 in cash that he found and delivered it straight to the police office.

Ou found the money in front of a supermarket early September with his mother. His father suffers from oral cancer for more than 10 years, and with his mother working odd jobs to support the family, NT$50,000 would for sure come in handy, however, he didn't do what many would have done, that is keeping the money.

The security company that had lost the bag of money ordered a custom made glass trophy and sent it to school, hoping the school would openly acknowledge the kind act by the student for it is the kind of value and moral more kids should know about in todays society.
