Convenience store chains have upgraded their food services by adding kitchen equipment in their outlets, further blurring the line between themselves and conventional eateries. Office workers generally welcome the change as it offers them yet another option for getting a quick bite. The freshly deep fried pork chop and freshly cooked sunny side up egg are now available at many local convenient stores in Taiwan. Freshly made breakfast sandwiches are made every morning while during lunch and dinner hours, rice au gratin would be freshly made available to the customers. Convenient stores are indeed more convenient than ever. Targeting those who do not cook at home, Hi-Life, Family Mart and Circle K are setting up hot food section at selective branches to compete with lunch buffet and traditional restaurants head to head. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
