Chiayi County's Sikou Township Office has collected many old photographs and recently hosted an old photo viewing activity along with story telling regarding the founding of the community.

It also invited residents to share the story behind these old photos, so that the younger generation could better understand the history of Sikou and help inspire a better undertanding of their hometown.

Each photo is a real image but one still needs to learn the story behind each event which is explained by community elders.

This activity allows ancient ancestors to teach the young generation about the difficulty of living on this land and inspire more love of their community.
