The festivities came to a splendid closure with more than 51,000 fireworks in different shades and shapes, lighting up Taipei City's night sky for 52 minutes. Once again, let's review the grand display that wowed tens of thousand of people. After nearly 10 years, the National Day fireworks lit up the sky again in Taipei! The first of the 2010 fireworks shocked everyone as they rose in the air like fairies sprinkling silver and gold ribbon. Then to other classical Chinese music, the second phase of fireworks lit up the sky like flowers with colors such as purple, red and yellow. Organizers offered a fantastic surprise as these purple yellow morning glories rose high in the sky! This never seen before firework design along with a colorful chrysanthemum design took place at a low-altitude, and resembled leaves as it led to loud praise from the audience! These colorful fireworks were like colorful gems set off against a black curtain, and even a colored smiley face symbol wished the ROC a happy 99th birthday! Music ranging from classical Chinese music to rock, marked the third phase of the program as the fireworks looked forward to the 100th year celebration and were set to the rhythm of the music. The theme song of the film "Titanic" was also used as these fireworks were released slowly creating a romantic atmosphere as smoke gradually rose and then one of Pavarotti's classic songs was the final climax of the fireworks show! With the area covered with smoke and many different diamonds of different colors lighting up the sky over the Danshui River, everyone who witnessed the wonderful fireworks celebration could not forget this beautiful view. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
