Have you ever heard a Taiwanese song performed by someone from Vietnam? Now here's your chance. A karaoke contest is recently held for foreign spouses in Taiwan to show off their language as well as vocal skills, with a prize of 30,000 NT dollars for the champion.

Though her pronunciation was not perfect, but she was courageous enough to challenge a Taiwanese song wearing her traditional Vietnamese costume.

Another Latvia Republic contestant challenged Teresa Tengs famous song of The Moon Represents My Heart after learning Chinese for 2 months.

Another contestant Santuu from Finland sang the same song , but he only knew one line, as he just wanted to participate in the event and his goal is not to win.

More then ten people signed up for the event for the preliminary round, with most of them hoping to be in the finals soon.
