The famous A-she Noodle is back in business.

After being temporarily shut down by the Tainan City Health Bureau last month for containing spoiled seasoning packets, the company is welcoming orders now that it has obtained the manufacturing license and passed the food safety regulations.

Workers in A-she Noodle factory are busy cleaning up the machines and getting everything ready to resume the production line.

Last month, several consumers complained that the seasoning sachets of A-she Noodle became inflated before it passed the expiry date, which was believed that the sauce inside was spoiled.

The Tainan City Health Bureau investigated into the matter and found out that the manufacturer had no license and the sanitary condition within the factory did not meet food safety standards.

The bureau soon asked the manufacturer to stop selling the products and all the noodles and seasonings had to be destroyed.

Many other consumers had also asked for refunds upon hearing the news.

After the shut down, besides apologizing to consumers, the business owner had spent around two million NT dollars to improve the sanitary condition as well as the manufacturing facilities.

Last Wednesday, the factory finally received official license after it passed relevant inspection.

In order to promote the reopening of A-she Noodle, the business owner has announced that consumers who ordered the noodles will get a chance to win big prizes, from a car to home appliances.

However, for most consumers, it takes more than big prizes to fully restore their confidence in the product and the reputation of the brand.
