The 45th Golden Bell Awards Ceremony was held on Friday evening, and PTS emerged as the biggest winner with a tally 12 awards, while its fellow TBS member, Hakka Television, walked away with six.
PTS was the big winner at the 45th Golden Bell Awards, coming away with 12 out of 60-some awards.
Apart from Best Actor and Best Actress in a Mini-Series and Best Animated Program, PTS also won the Program Marketing Award for documentary "Bird Without Borders."Drama series "Year of the Rain," meanwhile, won the Network Advertising Award and Best Director in a Television Series Award.
Children's program "Follow Me," which has been on the air for a decade, picked up its second Golden Bell.
PTS documentary "Tracing the River to its Source" was nominated for Best Cinematography and Best Director for a Non-Drama, and won Ke Chin-yuan his second Golden Bell in the latter category.
PTS drama "My Father is a Gangster" was nominated in seven categories, and won three.
Winnie Chu, meanwhile, won Best Director in a Mini-Series.
Rainie Yang took home the Best Actress in a Television Series Award for CTS' "Hi My Sweetheart,"
and 15-year old Wu Cheng-di won Best Actor in a Television Series for Da Ai Television's "Moonlight of Brotherhood."
