Five years ago, a documentary called "Jump!Boys" have touched the hearts of many with its detailed portrayal of the lives of seven young gymnastics players. Now, the little ones have already grown to be gold-winning athletes, and they are determined to win medals for Taiwan in the 2016 Olympic Games.
Remember these little gymnasts in the documentary "Jump! Boys" ,which depicted a gymnastics coach and seven young athletes' everyday life and the hard trainings they went through?
At the end of the movie, the little ones got the gold medal in the national competition of 2005.
As beginners in the sport at that time, the seven kids started from the basic, sacrificed their playtime, television watching and other leisure activity for extra practices.
They jumped, they fell; they cried, they wiped their tears and practice again.
These children's dedication to the sport and hard work have inspired and encouraged a lot of people.
And now, they have become professional gymnastics athletes.
For the past five years, despite the hardships, these young athletes have continued to excel and compete in the sport on parallel bars, pommel horse, floor exercise and so on.
Under the training of their coach, Lin Yu-Shin, they have won seven gold metals in the 2010 national Gymnastics contest.
Even though three members have dropped out of the team for various reasons, the team never forgot their dream.
They say their goal is the Olympic Games 2016 and they will continue to practice to impress the whole world.
