After being closed for 3 years, the Mei Hua Theater saw an investment of 30 million NT dollars and has since been reopened. The first film shown over the weekend was the documentary "Pianomania", which features the world's top pianists, including Chinese performer Lang Lang.

Renowned Chinese pianist Lang Lang appears for the first time as the lead character in the documentary film "Pianomania.

But behind the every successful pianist is a piano tuner who has a very discerning ear.

Costing 400,000 Euros, the film is a collection of top pianists and describes their life as well as that of Stephen Knupfer of Vienna who is a top piano tuner, and helps many master musicians find excellent sound.

Lang Lang is also part of the film, and fears the stability of the piano chair before playing before playing.

The film also contains well-known music from Vienna such as Goldener Saal.

The film opens over the weekend, and marks the reopening of the Mei Hua Theater after nearly three years of closure.

This film hopes to bring classical music back into the forefront of Taiwan audiences.
