Through the help of the general public, Saint Anne's Home, which takes care of children with special needs, is finally getting an upgrade. With better hardware and facilities, the organization will continue its mission to take care of those who are abandoned and those who are from low-income families.

Despite cold weather, children sitting in special wheelchairs were celebrating the completion of their new home. This is Saint Anne's home founded by Father Beuen Foundation.

On the same day 38 years ago, it took in the first abandoned baby.

So far, it has adopted 40 children, who are either abandoned by parents or special needs children from low-income families.

The facility has been too old after 30 some years.

Therefore, the foundation has been raising fund to build a seven-story building, hoping to provide a better hardware and facility to these children.

Representatives of Saint Anne's Home stressed that these children improved a lot after they received early developmental treatment.

They were able to communicate and some can even work.

Therefore, they will never give up on any kids.

But because of an issue from the construction company, Saint Anne's Home hasn't got a license yet.

So it was just a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

It's estimated that these children can move into their new home after the coming Lunar New Year.
