Yu Chang-zhe, who paid 280 million NT dollars for the luxurious unit at The Palace through the latest auction, has the eye for investing properties, and you can say, he got it from his mother.

Now, it's official. The new owner of The Palace, which was foreclosed days before, is him: Yu Chang-zhe, the 31 year-old business man, has been investing in real estate for business purpose for eight years already.

He often stands in the east area of Taipei City and observes shops for hours. The way of his research is proven to be effective, if we take a look at his properties he already owns.

The number of people visiting the shop decides if this place is worth to be bought. You may ask, where he has learned how to invest and you may not believe that his mentor is his Mother, Mrs Liu, who is also an expert in this field.

Only in Taipei City, she has more than 20 shops to rent and many are to find in the expensive areas. Her son Yu Chang-zhe has inherited her knowledge and has more than 30 shops under his name and Taipei is not the only city he has an eye on. Taichung's Feng-chia business area, the place of students and tourists belongs to his domain, too.

With his many investments and business, people are now speculating that he is now worth billions.
