The autobiography of the philanthropist, Chen Shu-chu, was published on Monday, with the proceeds going to her foundation, which is organized to help the needy individuals. In showing support for her good deeds, President Ma Ying-jeou also attended the book release press conference.

She is a vegetable seller in Taitung, and now Chen Shu-chu is no longer just a simple vendor as she is also the subject of the book "Extraordinary Generosity."

The publisher of the book said that even President Ma attended the book launch and lent his support.
