With the college-application season in full swing, many high school seniors are busy making big decisions and are in the process of preparing for admissions. In order to attract students' attention and boost enrollment rates, many universities are offering incentives at the University Fair, including tuition-free programs, and the chance to have a face-to-face interview with school representatives at the spot.

In order to attract prospective students at the University Exposition, the Military Academy set up a model tank for students to experience.

As the Military Academy employed an entertainment-based gimmick, other schools also upped the ante with their own tactics.

As the birth rate declines in Taiwan, competition among universities to draw in more students have become more intense than ever, with some schools offering full discounts on tuitions and incidental fees.

At every booth were a couple of students researching on the school's strengths and focus.

A few foreign schools were also at the scene, such as the University of Hong Kong, which offered students the opportunity to interview directly at the venue, an appealing offer for many of the students there.

This year, the enrollment quota increased to 7,649, the top ranking percentage threshold has also been expanded to include the top 50%.

Many prospective students are taking advantage of this opportunity to get into their dream school, while schools are reminding students to choose department majors that they are most interested in.
