Basketball star, Chien Wei-chuan is officially off the court, following her final game of the Women's Super Basketball League. On the last battle, Chien led the team and defeated Tai Yuan with a 91 to 53 score. She will be continuing her path in this field as a basketball coach instead.

In her last stand on the court, Chien Wei-chuan went full throttle against her opponent, scoring a three-point shot followed by cheers from basketball fans.

Chien scored 35 points for her team, made 8 assisted shots, and led her team against Tai Yuen, their opponent team, by 91 to 53.

At the age of 15, Chien became the national champion of the Asian Rugby team, 5 Asian Games, 4 East Asian Games, 11 Asian Baseball Games, and also led the Cathay Women Basketball team.

Her 17 consecutive championships record is unrivaled, and Chien once alone nabbed 84 points at the 1993 face off against Hong Kong in the US Olympics.

Now at the age of 40, Chien has decided to resign and says she hopes her teammates will one day top her records.

The legendary number 5 player will bid farewell to her 26-year career in front of her basketball fans, teammates, and family who traveled all the way from Hualien to see her play for the last time.

Looking back on her path, Chien smiles tearfully as her fans and coach wish her the best.

The number 5 jersey will hopefully not retire with Chien, but instead continue on the legend.

Chien says she hopes to continue demonstrating her passion for the sport as a coach.

Chien thanks her fans and teammates for their support along the way at the farewell party.

She says on this career path, she has neither regrets nor resentment and she will continue with her passion.
