The theme songs for Taiwan's centennial celebration have been unveiled, and more than 200,000 people took part in selecting the five tunes of different genres. The award-winning work is written by an aboriginal singer, which conveys the message of simplicity and happiness.

The song of indigenous style "Singing Out Loud" expresses the true happiness of living carefree in the mountains.

This is one of the winners in the Golden Melody 100 competition.

It was written by a Paiwan tribe singer, who was inspired by tribal members' true happiness from simple life.

Ten high school students who stand behind the aboriginal singer were chosen after several competitions.

They are from 10 different high schools.

Every one of them is surprised and excited to be able to sing the theme song of the country's centenary.

Besides the top winner, the judges and 200,000 internet users have chosen four other songs, which are of different genres, such as rock and roll, rap and the Hoklo style.

These songs will be released in EP format and hopefully to be learned and sung for the celebration of the country's 100th birthday.
