We have recently mentioned that the Taipei Flora Expo has broken the record of having more than 8 million visitors, triggering endless opportunities in various industries. The six-month long event has been a success to this date, which has generated more than 16.8 billion NT dollars in economic benefits. It has also boosted the hotel business in nearby areas, with the average occupancy rate said to be around 90 percent in Taipei City. In addition, close to 1,000 groups were given a chance to shine by performing up to 8,000 shows to the public. However, even with this positive feedback, some are saying that the outcome could have been more significant if buyers can make direct purchases and orders at the event.
