And this teapot is also carved. This is Lu Chih-sung's stone carving workshop. These stone teapots are displayed everywhere. He has great patience and works with each piece of hard stone to produce this unique work. This stone carving is not only time-consuming and laborious, but the failure rate is also huge. Lu never gives up and is persistent. He has recently been acknowledged by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center, and has received a certificate. It is a great honor for him as both him and his wife love stone carving and though the creative process is difficult, he has been fortunate to support his wife. In fact, he had childhood cerebral palsy, and gave up on himself, later transferring this grief into power. His story is transformed into his stonework, which is another window for him to express his feelings.
