You've probably had the experience of being irritated by the poor service attitude of an employee at a motor vehicle supervision station.

Now the national highway authorities are trying to make sure that such incidents will be minimized.

An instant feedback system will soon be installed in all supervision stations around the island, allowing disgruntled visitors to express their complaint at the push of a button.

In the future, station managers at Directorate General of Highway stations will be alerted whenever customers are dissatisfied with station employees.

The new quality assurance systems, which will soon be launched at stations around the island, will allow the public to respond to poor service.

Station employees that receive poor feedback will have to undergo etiquette training, and repeat offenses will be reflected in performance evaluations.

The new system is currently being tested at four stations around Taiwan, including Banciao, Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Chiayi, and response has so far been positive.

The DGH hopes that the system will improve its overall quality of service.
