To raise public awareness about the betel nut culture in Taiwan and the great damages that it leaves behind, one artist is portraying it all via his artwork.

When speaking of betel nut girls, many people would related them to hot girls with heavy makeup and short dresses, who wrap up betel nuts in the booth that is decorated with shining and colorful lights.

It is the unique betel nut culture in Taiwan, which is another source of inspiration for local artists.

The red paint spilled on the painting cloth is so free and random that it looks just like the betel nut juice spit on the streets.

The different colors in the painting are suggesting the multicultural aspect of Taiwan, while the dark spots on a green background are suggesting the damage that over planting betel nuts can bring to our environment.

Some artists try to present the betel nut culture through mascots. These artists said that they hope to expand people's imagination through combining pop art, and abstract images. They said that art is actually in our everyday life.
