After touching down in Taiwan, where the fans and the reporters chased her down for her yoga session in Taipei, Lady Gaga arrived in Taichung on Sunday afternoon. And there, she witnessed the celebration for "Lady Gaga Day" already in full swing.
People were walking around in Lady Gaga inspired attires, posters were seen in every corner of town, not to mention the traffic jams around the VIP only venue. Local hotels were also offering discounts for people who dressed like the talent.
Taichung City Mayor Jason Hu welcomed Lady Gaga by presenting gifts that symbolize the city.
"So beautiful, thank you. I will frame it right next to the key, all together, and put it in my home."
The aboriginal dance by the little ones, also impressed the mega star.
As the sun sets, thousands of screaming fans crowded the Taichung Arena for a wild night with the influential artist, whose achievements have surpassed many musicians, with five Grammy Awards, two Guinness World Records, and an estimated sale of 13 to 15 million albums sold worldwide.
Her second studio album alone, "Born This Way" has topped the musical charts in all major markets, and has become one of the fastest-selling single in the history of iTunes, with one million copies purchased in five days.
Just as fortunate as her die-hard followers, with 4,000 inside the arena, and more than 40,000 outside the structure, we too can got a taste of the power of the diva, sans the experience of a crowd that went absolutely gaga.&&
