What is the world's most expensive cities to live in for expatriates? According to a recent report from Time, it's not New York or Paris or London.

You'll be surprised this time around, in which the currencies played a big part in this year's ranking. Mercer, an international consulting organization, examines 214 cities around the world, based on the cost of more than 200 items and services, including transportation, food, clothing and housing.
