A New York judge has issued an order, which will let Occupy Wall Street protesters back to the Zuccotti Park with their tents, just hours after police evicted demonstrators, who have made the park their new home for the past 2 months.

According to sources, New York police officers in full on riot gear first ordered the protesters to leave early Tuesday morning, saying that the occupation is posing health and fire safety hazards to the public.

People were ordered to temporary leave the area, and tear down their so-called homes, including tents, sleeping bags, and tarps. While some left without making a scene, some built barricades with tables to keep the authorities from clearing out the park.

However, just hours later, New York Supreme Court Judge Lucy Billings has given an order, allowing protesters to return back to the privately owned park with their overnight gears.

In response, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who earlier supported the eviction said, that the park will remain closed until officials figure out the legal situation.
