Pop diva Celine Dion has pulled the plug on her two months worth of shows in Las Vegas, citing a virus causing an inflammation of her vocal cords. Celine Dion's doctor has ordered the French-Canadian songbird to take a six to eight weeks of vocal rest, after being diagnosed with a viral illness and weakness in her right vocal cord. Dion has no choice but to scrap off a series of performances at Caesars Palace, where she began her residency three years ago. To cater to the star, the Las Vegas casino has spent an eye-watering $95 million building the Colosseum in 2003, which is equipped with a humidifier to protect her voice. Dion is scheduled to resume her shows on June 9th. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
