Here in Taiwan, the list of unconventional graduation events keeps getting longer. Without the usual pomp and circumstance, graduates of an elementary school in Yilan County got a hands-on experience with ancient-style cooking.

　　The children are experiencing how it was in the old days to cook a meal.Though many of them know the concepts, practicing is still a bit scary to most of them.The brave ones chop woods for the fire and fan the flame for higher heat,however, the smoke got in their eyes and make them tear immediately.

　　Girls prepared the vegetables and chop cucumbers while boys would stir-fry the vegetable to prepare for their last lunch at school.At meal time, all students were proud of what they have achieved while they tastes a great meals they have prepared for each other.
