Medical Journal "The Lancet" has concluded that excessive consumption of artificial colorings can result in hyperactivity and can impede cognitive development among children.

Doctors added that some children's hyperactive symptoms are greatly reduced after they cut down on the intake of artificial colorings.

Half an hour after eating several pieces of candy, An An is hyperactive and can't sit still. According to doctors, excessive consumption of artificial colorings can lead to hyperactivity in children. In particular, Yellow No. 4, Yellow No. 5, Red No. 6, and Red No. 40 are seen as the top culprits. Although all four are approved by the Department of Health, Japan has banned the four colorings from food products for pregnant women and children.

A cursory glance at the ingredient labels of food products will reveal whether the item contains any of these colorings, and there have been several cases in which the conditions of hyperactive children have returned to normal within three days of removing food colorings from their diets.

Next time your child is running wild, think about what you have been feeding him or her.
