The competition between Tsai and Chu isnt just taking place on campaign trails. Its also raging in cyberspace. Both candidates recently created online cartoon versions of themselves, in the hope of winning the hearts-and votes-of younger generations.

What type of person does Xin Bei City need? A good or bad person? Man or woman? The answer is the city's hero, Spider Man. No no, it's Xin Bei City's mayor candidate, Eric Chu. This is the cartoon that was made by young fans on Chu's blog. A follow up episode today explains Taipei County's various interest points. There is also this cute character with short hair and wearing glasses. Do you know who this is? She is DPP Xin Bei City candidate Tsai Ying-wen. Tsai has also posted many cute msn expressions on her blog for fans to download. She has also started a cartoon too. The character is supposedly really bad at English. Both candidates are campaigning hard to see who can win in the end.
