Chinese comic book artist Xia Da, who has gained immense popularity in Japan with her illustrations, is visiting Taiwan for the first time. And the talented and beautiful lady has been greeted with a crowd of mostly male fans.

It's Xia Da's first time on the island, and she is already getting a lot of love.

A comic book artist from China, the 28-year old Xia Da claim to fame with her work, "What Confucius Did Not Speak Of". The book became an instant hit in Japan, which led to her winning the Golden Dragon Award for Original Animations and Comics.

Although her traditional creations are not on the shelves in Taiwan yet, she has already won over a group of die-hard male supporters, with many saying that she appears to have stepped out of her own drawing.
