The Kaohsiung City government is planning to create a special zone for wedding planning related businesses at the converging point for its two MRT lines, making things a lot more convenient for potential brides and grooms in southern Taiwan. . Kaohsiung City's Chungshan Road is known as the city's "Wedding Studio Street," while a high concentration of bakeries can be found on Chungcheng Road. The area is therefore extremely popular with couples that are planning weddings. The Kaohsiung City Government recently set up an online forum to provide consumers with information on the businesses and couples with a place to exchange love notes. The Formosa Boulevard MRT station is located on the intersection of the two roads, and tourists can often be found shopping and taking pictures inside the station. However, business outside the station plummeted when construction on the station began. The city government hopes that the forum will not only create a unique identity for the area, but also breathe new life into area businesses. As Ghost Month is approaching, wedding studios and bakeries are set to unveil special discounts in the next few weeks. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
