To welcome the upcoming Taipei International Flora Exhibition in November, the fifth Pineapple Pastry Festival has set its theme as "Flower, Mid-Autumn" in this year's competition.

48 bakeries nationwide present their best work of pineapple pastry, with one baker replaces traditional filling with that of Hawaiian Style Pizza flavor, which wins the top prize in the creative pastry contest.

The ingredients of the pineapple cake filling include butter, cheese, pork floss and green basil.

The ratios of the crust and the filling are 4:3.

After adding saffron to give the pastry some colors, the dough is sent to the oven for 20 minutes.

This is the top prize winner of the fifth Taipei Pineapple Pastry Festival.

Inspired by the flavor of Hawaiian Style Pizza, the baker combines the ingredients of the East and the West, presenting a strong aroma of basil and then the muti-layered texture of pineapple and butter.

The taste is really amazing.

Also, as part of the effort to go with the upcoming Taipei International Flower Expo, the packaging of the products is given a creative spin, with sky lanterns and auspicious messages.

This makes a perfect gift.
