The first Bicycle Emergency Response Team in Shezi Island is currently in action. The crew, formed by the Taipei City Fire Department, is geared up with first aid kits and repair tools, to provide immediate assistance to the growing number of cyclists in the area. A Zhoumei Bridge rest stop has also been developed to allow the athletes to recoup themselves
