The students from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology have recently won nine prizes at the red dot design awards in Germany, with their cutting edge creations. Let's check out these inventions that wowed the judges, from a flower vase made from a plastic bottle, to an umbrella that can turn your raining day into a drawing affair. This is just an ordinary plastic bottle, but it transforms into an innovative "innate" vase when a small white neck is added. National Taiwan University of Science and Technology students Yeh Ming-Hong and Lai Chung-Ping were awarded a "best of the best" red dot design award for their creation. Student Liu, who designed this ink brush umbrella, says that the silicon tip allows people to paint in the rain. Meanwhile, this lamp is extremely useful for busy designers that work long hours in the office, or Otakus that rarely leave their homes. The light is almost like an indoor window that reminds its owner when to eat and when to sleep. NTUST students recently picked up nine red dot design awards, and in doing so, made the nation proud. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
