The Taipei International Flora Expo has unveiled its "Pavilion of Future" Wednesday in the Xinsheng Park area. And what is so unique about this structure that's built based on the green concept? With control systems that can adjust to the temperature, the humidity and the light accordingly for different kinds of plants, you are able to witness up to 17,000 types of species in this one exhibition. The music is being played not for the listening pleasure of visitors, but rather for plants. To the delight of visitors, many of the plants seem to move to the rhythm. The Taipei International Flora Exposition's "Pavilion of Future" houses more than 1,700 types of botanical specimens ranging from marine plants to tropical plants, and many of the 30,000 plants have never been seen in Taiwan before. Night blooming Cereuses are famous for blooming rarely and only at night, but they are preserved here in a vacuum for all to enjoy. As the Flora Expo has not yet opened, many adjustments are still being made inside the pavilion. When humidity levels are too high, many blossoms end up molding. The pavilion has an energy-conserving, automated temperature, humidity, and light control system that allows plants from all over the world to thrive. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
