In Taichung, DPP mayor hopeful Su Jia-chuan will be named first on the ballot, followed by the KMT incumbent Jason Hu. As for Greater Kaohsiung, independent candidate Yang Chiu-hsing will be positioned first, which he considers a good omen.

Su Jia Chuna supporters were not satisfied with the site of the ballot number drawing and protested on the 29th, the day all 5 speial municipality candidates picked their ballot representing numbers.

Though there were many protestors in Taichung, the event went smoothly with Su Jia Chuan picked the number one while Jason Hu picked two.

In Greater Tainan, pan Blue supporters were trying to get close to Hsu Tien Tsai, but were blocked from doing so, with Hsu picked number one and Lai Chin The picked number two.

Compare to the two areas, Kaohsiung was more quiet with Huang Chao Shuin welcomed by people along the street in her wheelchair, who picked the number 2, Yang Chiu Hsing picked 1 and Chen Ju picked the number 3.

As it is the count down of the election campaign stage, all candidates are trying their hardest preparing for the final battle.
