The race is heating up in the Taipei area, and it is literally a tug of war between the two candidates. According to the poll numbers released by print media, KMT's Hau Lung-bin and DPP challenger Su Tseng-chang are as close as one percent apart to winning the seat to be the next mayor. Hau says that he will go all out in achieving victory, and Su, who is trying to garner supports from swing voters, adds that the tight score shows that many people are still undecided, and are carefully analyzing who will better lead them. Praying for the successful opening of the Flora Expo well, Hau visited Wanhua's Tien-Ho Temple to offer incense. Only a few weeks ago, his rival Su Tseng-Chang had been at the same location as the election is coming down to the final countdown. According to the latest polls in the print media, Hau's lead over Su is less than 1 percentage point as the election is extremely tight. Hau Lung-bin pledges to go all out for a victory and Su went early in the morning to a Xinyi District market to canvass for votes. Voters embraced him and sought autographs, as Su said that the current election is very tight indeed. From the polls, he says that there won't be much change in citizens. With the election only a few weeks away, Hau will ask for leave from City Hall on November 12th and fully dedicate himself to the election. Su said that he would visit grassroots supporters and begin learning more about in-depth municipal issues. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
