Exactly what kind of leaders are the young individuals looking for?

Through an online survey conducted by the social welfare organizations and youth groups, the voices of the future generation are heard. Now, let's take you around Taiwan to take a listen.

Although these students don't have voting rights yet, they show much concern for the future of their nation.

Civil rights groups have invited 142 young online community members from the five municipals to voice their own opinions about administration issues.

Contents range from topics that youths across the nation are concerned about to issues on advanced education.

According to the civil rights groups, education ranks as a top priority for youths across the nation.

However, other important issues vary by districts.

For instance, students in northern Taipei are more concerned about future employment, and students in central Taiwan are hoping the new leaders can address transportation problems, while southern Taiwanese students are more concerned about the insufficient public youth facilities.

With six days left until the big election day, civil rights groups are calling for the candidates to also pay attention to the voice of the youth segment as they vie for public support.
