The oldest high school in Taiwan, Tainan's Chang Jung Senior High, just held its first official alumni reunion in its one and a quarter century history. Many senior graduates have all returned to participate in the event, with the eldest of them being 88 years old. Participants at the school reunion stood up and sang the school song together. Some of them are grey-haired and some are in their 30's and 40's. They are the alumni of Chang Jun Senior High School of Tainan and came back to the city especially for the reunion. Participants include CTS CEO Wang Lin-hsiang, former superintendent of Xinlou hospital and many more. No matter what they do for a living now, these individuals get to reminisce their youth at the reunion. The 88-year-old alumni Priest Chen Er-yu walked into the campus and appreciated the school's red-bricked buildings, specially-shaped arch and corridors, which represent the school's history. Founded in 1885, the Chang Jung Senior High school is the first senior high school in Taiwan. It was approved by the government in 1939 and renamed officially. After a century, the school has trained a lot of students over the years and will continue to carry forward the fine tradition of cultivating talents for the country. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
