Taiwan has donated more money to earthquake-devastated Japan than any other country in the world. Besides the financial aid, some college students in Kaohsiung are also showing their support to Japan's quake survivors by sending them more than 10,000 origami cranes, which represent the best wishes and love of the Taiwanese people. College students are making paper cranes with full attention, while some of the students are writing "Good Luck" on the paper cranes. Meanwhile, boxes and boxes of paper cranes sent from several elementary and junior high school students arrived, and the total number of paper cranes for this activity reached over 10,000. Some people placed the paper cranes into a pattern that say "Go! Japan." The biggest paper crane is as big as a table while the smallest one is no bigger than a fingernail. These paper cranes represent Taiwanese students' love,. The activity "one person, one paper crane" is held in the hope to wish all the best to Japanese quake victims. Many people participating in the activity keep folding paper cranes whenever they are free. The event organizer said that he appreciates everyone's help in collecting and making the paper cranes.
