The Mainlanders are free to roam our town, just in time for the Dragon Boat Festival. With many hotels in the south getting their constructions renovated to leave the visitors a memorable experience, we are also seeing special promotion that will keep the travelers coming to Kaohsiung City. These walls are being repainted and the bathroom facilities are being updated since the beginning of this year. Also self-service laundry and wireless Internet service is being offered at this 30-year-old hotel. It is also offering an introductory price of 590 NT$ and a special 100 NT$ offer for shorter term stay. These low prices are hoping to lure mainland tourists. In addition, the hotel is offering a 5-hour stay from Monday to Thursday for 280 NT$. These businesses are competing against each other ahead of the free travel for mainland tourists, as some don't agree with this extreme price competition.
