The Cloud Gate Dance Theatre's "Wanderer Plan" has been running for 6 years, and this time around, ten young adventurers are sharing their exciting stories with the audience after traveling to different corners of the world.
Each move is executed with power.
30-year old Huang Hung-hsi is extremely passionate about martial arts, and has been studying martial arts for over a decade.
To further his studies, he traveled from Beijing to Henan and Hebei to learn from different masters.
Along the way, he was able to become acquainted with different schools of martial arts and reflect on the cultural roots that created and contributed to each one.
Like Huang, opera singer Lee Pei-yin also traveled to China in pursuit of her art.
With only a pair of thick-soled boots and a water sleeve, Lee, who holds a law degree, arrived in Shaanxi to study Qinqiang.
Despite collapsing at one point due to pressure, the experience made her even more determined to master the art.
Under the Cloud Gate Dance Theatre's "Wanderer Plan," ten young adventurers left their homes to pursue their dreams.
One sought inspiration along the Ganges River, while another rediscovered his passion for art in Japan.
New York resident Hsu Fang-yun left her high-paying job at an auction house to return to her native Taiwan and explore every corner of the island.
Hsu says that during her journey, she learned to see people with her heart and was able to find herself.
Through their journeys, each adventurer was able to realize his or her dream, and open new windows of possibilities.
