The Central Weather Bureau is reminding the public to make a note of the high temperature in recent days, and to make sure you apply sunscreen to avoid direct exposure to the sun.

We have hit a high of 36.2 degrees Celsius yesterday noon in New Taipei City, and 35.4 degrees Celsius in Taipei City.

The bureau added that we may be experiencing more days like this, with a prediction of 40 to 50 days this summer, so don't forget to keep yourself hydrated.
