How do you really enjoy the beautiful scenery here on the island? Take the 12 different routes including the coastal and mountain paths planned by a private group, in ensuring you're getting the best views in Taiwan.

Hsuehshan Tunnel has shorten the distance from Ilan to Taipei.

But you only see the tunnel along the way.

Other the other hand, you can choose to go from Hsindian to Suao on a route that rounds through the forest.

Or you can try walking from Pingtung to Taitung along Taiwan's last natural coast line to enjoy the closest you will get to the outdoors.

These routes were created by social groups in the past four years, seeking the dream round the island route.

A total of 12 round the island routes, including mountain routes and coastal routes, were created.

This network contains 3,000km of roads.

Creator Huang Wuhsiung said this is actually a way to slowly enjoy life and get closer to your heart.

These social groups believe you can only develop a deep relationship with the land when you learn more about it, which will make you appreciate the land even more.
