Comic exhibit attracts fans

The yearly Comic Exhibition has kicked off at the Taipei World Trade Center, with some hardcore fans camping out for days just to get their favorite comic author's autograph and to purchase limited merchandize.

As the clock strikes ten o'clock, a crowd of avid comic fans charge through the doorway of the TWTC, fighting to get their most admired comic artists' autographs and for these limited bags that are sold for 500 NT dollars each.

The 150 bags are completely sold out within 10 minutes.

The Comic Exhibition, allows fans to meet the two Japanese comic talents face-to-face, while leading the readers in exploring the world of the traditional and modern day illustrations.

With 350 stands and 60 publishing companies, the event will run for six days, and is expected to attract half a million comic book lovers.
